Document the time difference. Down to the second.
CCTV Time Difference compares a CCTV system clock with a documented reference time. Capture the display or enter both times manually, review the exact offset, and keep every examination together in a clear PDF report.
From two clocks to documented offset.
The app keeps the reference source, CCTV time, review decision, time zone, note, and result connected throughout the examination.
Check the reference
The app attempts to calibrate the reference clock against time.apple.com. If that check is unavailable, the device clock is used and identified clearly.
Capture or enter
Photograph the CCTV timestamp for on-device reading, choose an existing image, or enter the reference and CCTV times manually.
Review the time
Correct the detected date, time, or AM/PM value when necessary. The OCR suggestion must be approved before it is used.
Save the result
Store the signed offset with second precision, the documented time zone, method, notes, and supporting photograph.
Use the method that fits the system in front of you.
Both routes produce the same clear signed offset and can be saved as separate examinations in the report.
Keep the displayed timestamp with the result.
Take a photograph or choose an existing image, then let Apple Vision suggest the date and time locally on the device.
- The photograph can be retained with the examination.
- Raw OCR text and confidence information support review.
- Every detected value remains editable before approval.
Calculate precisely without a photograph.
Enter the correct reference time and the time shown by the CCTV system at the same moment. The result updates with full date and second precision.
- Suitable for systems where photography is not practical.
- Retains the documented time zone and reference context.
- Add a description such as camera or recorder location.
The details needed to understand the result later.
CCTV Time Difference stays focused on time verification and the documentation that supports it.
Signed clock difference
See whether the CCTV clock is ahead of or behind the reference, expressed as hours, minutes, and seconds.
Time-zone context
Keep the relevant time-zone identifier and UTC offset with each saved examination.
Visible OCR status
Record whether the detected timestamp was approved or manually corrected before calculation.
Useful field context
Add a short description for the recorder, camera, display, or location connected to the time check.
Ordered examinations
Save several OCR or manual checks and keep them in a predictable order in one report.
System, light, or dark
Choose the appearance that is most comfortable for the current working conditions.
Bring every time examination into one PDF.
Add the report reference, requester, location, department, preparer, and report date. The locally generated PDF then combines those details with each saved time examination.
- Reference and CCTV times with the signed offset.
- Method, source, time zone, notes, and review status.
- Supporting photographs and OCR documentation when available.
- Save or share through the standard iOS system sheet.
Processing stays close to the examination.
The app is designed for local work and deliberate sharing. It does not connect to, download, record, play, or distribute CCTV video.
